I'm living in:: Macon, GA also known as the MacTown for striaght thuggin' it!!! But my roots lay in New Mexico born and raised with the greatest food, the perfect climate, and the freshest people you could ever meet besides Macon, that is!!!

I rock out to:: Mostly hip hop, but since i've lived in the south i have been exposed waaaaaay more types of music......i'm not just your average hip hop mama any more!!!!!

I am currently listening to:: Right now i'm getting down to this group called Zeph and Azeem, super dope hip hop group from Canada, i think. Also, i'm really in the production of MArk Ronson and Jay Dilla . On the non hip hop tip i'm really into this group called The Bird and The Bee, Lily Allen, Peter Bjorn and Phillip, CSS, Jem, just to name a few. Other than that i'm exploring the world of Bosa Nova music, which is really fun to listen to!!!

I don't like:: Country. Believe me, i tried, i really trully tried, but i can't. I don't have it in me and maybe it is because of lack of the country life style experiance. You knows.........

I'd like to see more:: more hip hop shows where i live. i like going to see local acts. I just want to see more hip hop acts roll through and i'm not taking about the crunk ish either, something that will make you think and make you nod your head like crazy!!!!!

About Me:: What can i say about me? Well I'm Lady A, which mean i'm very chill girl. I get really into my music and i get really into my movies. I like good conversation, but above all alike a good laugh. A laugh that hurts so bad you start to cry and makes your stomach hurt for days at a time. Oh yeah, and i dable on the wheels of steel too. I'm not very good, but by the summer hits, hopefully i can hold my own:)

I also got the new Portishead, obviously much different vibe, and it has some really interesting sounds. It's nice to finally hear some new tunes from them since it has been forever. I was doing my usual digging through the used cd bin and I found his cd called the Collection. I usually try not to get too many "best of" albums but, lucky for me, I bought that sucker. I realize I am a late bloomer in this regard, but better late than never, right? This compilation of jazzy, hip-hop, playful soul makes me think that this is what the late, great Marvin Gaye would be doing, or at least listening to. Either way, I have been rocked!
