Bucket City chief and founder, Christian Brooks, resides in the the birthplace of Rock-n Roll, Memphis TN. A former adjunct professor of Musicology at Middle Tennessee State University, Christian holds a Bachelor of Music degree from The University of Southern Mississippi and a Master of Fine Arts from Middle Tennessee State University. He spent 10+ years in the Nashville area playing and touring in various bands and musical projects. During this time, he gradually transitioned into the music business, co-founding Bucket City Agency with Joe Buck in 2007. Christian takes his coffee black, his whiskey straight and prefers listening to music on vinyl. When not booking shows and sorting though high volumes of email, he can often be found (or better yet, not found) hunting in the hills, hollers, and swamps of Tennessee and Mississippi.
Musical influences: Hank Williams, Blind Willie Johnson, Dock Boggs, Junior Kimbrough, George Jones, R.L. Burnside, and The Stooges.

Bucket City agent
Katie Perry lives and breathes Rock-n Roll in Chico, CA. Katie designed and developed the previously nonexistent Special Major in Music Promotion, for which she earned her Bachelors Degree from California State University, Chico. Before the ink dried on that degree, she created Devil Kat Rock Productions focusing on booking, promotion, and good ole’ fashioned support of the independent music scene. Concurrently with her Bucket City agent duties, Katie works with JMAX Productions marketing concerts in California, Nevada, and Oregon. Whether performing, promoting, or standing up front fist in the air, Katie is Rock-n Roll. And Rock-n Roll is Katie.
Hunkered down in Lafayette, Indiana, Jim Voelz has been promoting and booking music since 2006 when he founded Mom&Pop Productions to diversify the local music scene and to fill a need for underground bands that couldn't seem to hit a decent show in Central Indiana. Hitting home runs straight out of the gates, Jim continued to promote successively bigger shows in the Greater Lafayette area, eventually quitting school to devote himself full time to the task. With a great fondness of playing and promoting music came a strong interest in the industry side of things, specifically touring. Jim started booking tours independently in 2009, coming to Bucket City in 2011. In his spare time he can be found working on various musical projects, hunting, fishing, or sipping on some drinks at a show.
